Bell Ringers

We have a peal of six bells at St John’s. They were installed in 2000 to celebrate the millennium with the aid of the Millennium Bell Fund.

We regularly ring for the 10:00am service and also for weddings and special services. We are affiliated to the Winchester and Portsmouth Guild of Bell Ringers and both attend meetings of the Guild and take part in bell ringing leagues and competitions. We welcome new recruits aged from 12 to almost any age!
