During the summer break Kidzone ask memebers of the congregation to put on some show and tell activities whilst the leader and helps have thier well deserved rest.

Surface Warship Association
A member of the Surface Warship association came to show some of their radio controller model boats and explain a bit about the models how they are made. Kidzone got to drive a radio controlled tank driving it out of a landing craft around a small course and then parking it back in to the landing craft.
After the service an number of the congregation came in to the hall to see the models and ask questions.

'Show and Tell' Games and Stories
Kidzone were invited to bring in something for show and tell. The 4:12 youth group organised some games for the younger Kidzone members.

Kilts of Caledonia
Two piper from the Kilts of Caledonia Pipes and Drum band visited kidzone. They explained a bit about the notes that can be played on the great highland bagpipes and how to read music; showed the uniforms; explained how the pipers learn the tunes on a practice chanter and then move them on to the bagpipes. Kidzone were able to try on the feather bonnet, play the practice chanter and try to get a note from the bagpipe chanter. The session finished with the pipers playing 'Let Erin Remember' and 'Battle O'er'
